Take The Sand at Sandown

Alright folks, The Guvnor here with a quick rundown on a nice little EW bet for today’s racing.
Ellaria Sand has been off the track since a disappointing run in the German 1000 Guineas back in the spring — she’d previously finished mid-division in the Fred Darling at Newbury. It looks like her connections have been patient, waiting for a late summer or autumn campaign, and it paid off when she took the listed Radley Stakes at Newbury on heavy ground. She beat Saqqara Sands — now rated 113 — into second that day, and the booking of Oisin Murphy is a real plus. Murphy’s been in scintillating form lately, with 11 wins in the last 14 days — he’s riding with confidence, and that can make all the difference.
This filly clearly relishes soft ground, and the return to 7 furlongs should suit her right down to the ground. The race is at 1:50pm at Sandown, and the 10/1 available looks too big to ignore — although I’ve got to say, she might just not have trained on quite as well as hoped. The more rain, the better in my book, and I’ll be keeping a close eye on the weather ahead of today’s meeting.
Woroodd is another three-year-old mare with her supporters, but if those forecasts are right, she might struggle with the soft conditions — she’s out of a mare who found plenty of ease in the ground tough going.
Here's my suggestion: 1.5 points EW - Ellaria Sand (EW) at 10/1 with CopyBet, who offer Best Odds Guaranteed.
