3:40pm Perth
Alright folks, let’s talk Perth. Gordon Elliott’s Hardy Diamond has been up here a couple of times without success, but maybe it’s third time lucky. She finally got her head in front over fences last month at Kilbeggan, so fair play. Alongside her, fellow Irish raider Jumping Susie deserves a mention too – both come here with chances.
But me? I’d rather stick with one I know will give you a proper run for your money – Sean Og from Dianne Sayer’s yard. This lad’s only seven, and already has 4 wins from 17 starts over fences. He loves Cartmel (three wins there) and has one at Catterick too, so he’s no stranger to getting the job done.

Henry Brooke takes the ride and while it’s Sean Og’s first spin round Perth, I reckon the track will suit him. If he shows anything like the form he did at the end of June – when he absolutely smashed Lermoos Legend by 17 lengths – then he’s right in this. For a bit of context, that horse’s stablemate Easy Bucks has won twice round here, so the form stacks up nicely.
💡 The Guvnor’s Call: Sean Og at 13/2 with CopyBet – worth a go each-way.
