Hitting The Jackpot!

We’re ticking along nicely, folks — the Guvnor’s tipping figures are looking good. Since mid- September, from the last 20 races, we’ve banged in 8 winners for a tidy 40% strike rate and an overall profit of +35.04 points. Average winner’s BSP sits around 4.78, so it’s been a steady stream of value rather than flash-in-the-pan punts. Long may it continue!
Now, onto today’s action — and I reckon we’ve found another solid opportunity to keep that momentum rolling. In the 15:37 at Huntingdon,Billy Aprahamian’s Pep Talking has done plenty right over fences, with 5 wins from 12 starts, and he’s already been in the winner’s enclosure twice this year at Hereford and Southwell. That said, his last run at Warwick off a career-high mark of 102 suggested he might be nudging the ceiling of his current ability. Even with Jack Andrews taking off 3lb, he might just find one or two too good today.
I’ve got my eye on one that may be too good for the rest:

Step forward JACKPOT CASH, trained by the upwardly mobile James Owen and partnered by champion jockey Sean Bowen — a pairing that’s proving dynamite this season. At six years old, he’s the youngest in the field and still very much on the upgrade.
Since switching from the Evan Williams yard, he’s shown versatility over both hurdles and fences — notably finishing a strong second in a red-hot Worcester handicap hurdle in May, before strolling home in a small-field chase a week later.

With ideal conditions and plenty of scope from his current chase mark of 109, I think Jackpot Cash is primed to strike again.

2 points win at Betfair SP -
JACKPOT CASH 15:37 Huntingdon
Looks the one to be on, folks — and hopefully another step toward keeping those profit figures ticking north.
