A Beauty for you at HQ!

Today’s Cheveley Park Stakes at Newmarket, the 14:25, looks a cracking contest, but The Guvnor is firmly behind Beautify as his nap of the day.

This filly has stepped up massively on her debut form, burst onto the scene by winning the Group 2 Airlie Stud Stakes at the Curragh in June. She really caught the eye that day, showing a lovely cruising speed and a smooth-moving rhythm that suggests she’s far better than her early form.

Next time out, she ran a cracking race to finish second in the Moyglare at the same course, covering 7 furlongs on good to soft ground. She looked a real progressive type and moved through the race nicely, which gives her a great chance back at 6 furlongs today.

The success so far has all come under the expert guidance of Aidan O’Brien, and she’s ridden by the talented Tom Marquand, who will know how to get the best out of her. The yard also saddles True Love in the same race, but Beautify really sets the standard on what she’s achieved so far.

In what looks like a pretty average renewal, her recent form makes her the one to beat. If she can reproduce her best efforts, she’s got every chance of winning again.
