Today’s titanic clash between Liverpool and Arsenal promises to be an intriguing fixture, full of potential drama. Liverpool have looked a bit all over the place at the back – defending hasn’t been their strongest suit so far this season, and they’ve shipped multiple goals in each of their first three games (including the Community Shield). Their attack, however, has been impressive, showing some real clinical finishing. Arsenal, on the other hand, have looked steadier defensively — but they’ll be missing key players Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard, which definitely levels the playing field a bit.

If I had to give a side for this one, I’d lean towards Arsenal. They’ve got a solid backline overall, and even without Saka and Odegaard, they’ve shown they can handle the big moments. Still, both teams will probably settle for a point if they can get it — a draw’s a result both sides wouldn’t mind too much.

Liverpool’s defensive vulnerabilities are somewhat obvious. They’ve conceded multiple goals in all their fixtures so far, and with a defence that’s quite attack-minded and a bit top-heavy, it’s unlikely they’ll tighten up overnight. Their full-back positions are a concern—without a reliable right-back and a new, still-adjusting left-back, they leave gaps that teams can exploit. So, Arsenal could be set to continue their scoring streak against Liverpool, as they did in both fixtures last season, finding the net twice.

Now, here’s a betting angle that caught my eye: Eberechi Eze to score anytime at 11/4 with 10Bet. Suggested stake: 2 points. Eze is about to make his debut for Arsenal after making a big impact at Crystal Palace, and I think this is a smart value bet. He’s shown he can be a game-changer, and now he’s in a team with even more firepower.

Mikel Arteta might opt to deploy Eze on the left flank, especially to keep things tight in midfield with Mikel Merino. That matchup could be really interesting—Eze will likely face off against either Dominik Szoboszlai, Curtis Jones, or a less experienced Conor Bradley. If he wins that battle down the left side, he could be the player who unlocks the game.

Eze’s form for Palace has been outstanding — hitting the target in 14 of his last 22 starts, which is a solid 64% success rate. Now with Arsenal, facing a Liverpool squad that’s conceding an average of 1.58 expected goals per game, he has the potential to add to his stats. His expected goal involvements last season was 0.52 per 90 minutes, and with his current form and a better team around him, he could significantly surpass that.

Looking ahead, I’d predict a high-scoring game with plenty of chances:

It’s set to be a pulsating encounter with both sides capable of grabbing a win, but a draw looks the most likely outcome given the way things are shaping up. Predicted scoreline 2-2: 12/1 is available with Bet365 - suggested stake: 0.5 points
